What Are You Doing With Your Life Right Now?
Currently, I am a Senior in high school. I am ready to graduate. I am ready to go off to college and be in a new city and meet new people.
As of right now, however, I am beyond stressed out about graduating high school. Third quarter (whew chilee), I'm not saying it is hard but senioritis is really kicking in. I am managing AP classes and dual enrollment classes and I just want to laugh and cry at the same time, because why did I make my schedule so difficult. I know seniors taking three classes and leaving before noon... why didn't I do that?
My constant stress which I think is all the overly obsessive seniors is where are we going to college. I was accepted into all of my colleges (whooptido) but I still do not know where I am going. Let's take a quick break to unleash my rapid thoughts on college. Do I really need to go to college? Should I take a gap year? Should I go out-of-state or stay in-state? Should I actually try on my AP exams or fool around? Do I really need to maintain my grades if I already got into college? Where is everybody else going to college?
As I am writing this I have two projects to complete and one class that I have no clue what is going on to study for. But, what am I doing? Re-watching Charmed on Netflix (for the 100th time mind you), so there is that. Maybe I will start homework after one, two, three, or four more episodes maybe, who knows. You know what else is causing this mass amount of procrastination? I am in three new group chats for my dream college and let me tell you 300 messages in less than 30 min is a lot to read, but why not procrastinate some more and be nosey.
I know that no-one wanted to hear a spill on how stressed out my senior year is right now but to continue on with the blog over the course of the year we need to see my progression. Imagine how amazing it will be this time next year when I am in college and I actually have my life together and friends to help me destress.... amazing. My goal for this blog is to help me to see my own progression because my goal is to become a successful young woman in the business and technical career fields and that just does not happen overnight. So, I am going to work on hitting each goal I have and hopefully, this blog will also serve as a stress reliever and a motivator to reach my goals.
