Knowing When to Step Back and Re-Asses Your Life.
Have you ever been going through a rough patch in life? Like you feel yourself becoming increasingly negative, or that your friends are fake, or even that you are working yourself too hard. Well, I'm going to share with you guys some situations that should have you be able to grasp the idea of when to take a step back (to be by yourself) and re-assess your life and why you feel a certain way.
- You are doing too many things. Maybe that's working two jobs or doing 30 activities for the school. Sometimes you just need to take a break and focus on one thing at a time.
- You feel like an extremely negative person around a certain group of people.
- You are in a lazy phase. Not doing schoolwork in a timely manner nor wanting to do anything when you get home but bum it on the couch.
- You don't know what you want out of life and every day is a constant daze.
- If you saw someone doing the same thing as you, you would think they were fake.
- You cannot see beyond the present, in terms of what you want to do next week, next month, or even next year.
- You think about what others think about you too much.
- You compare yourself to others constantly.
- You are surrounding yourself with people who don't care about you.
To wrap up, look over this list honestly and if you feel like you are falling under these situations or have situations that resemble these take a step back and re-assess your life. Don't fear being alone, just think about it as the time to invest in yourself to improve your life.
